ACSMEDI-EFMC Medicinal Chemistry Frontiers 2023
ACSMEDI-EFMC Medicinal Chemistry Frontiers 2023 will be held in Boston from June 10th to 13th, 2023 (EST). This session attracts a diverse range of experts in the field of drug discovery, with a particular focus on medicinal and synthetic chemistry. Additionally, scientists involved in computer-aided drug design, biology, DMPK, pharmacology, and early toxicology also participated in the event.

CPHI China 2023
CPHI China 2023, organized by Informa Markets and China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products (CCCMHPIE), and co-organized by Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets International Exhibition Co. Ltd (IM Sinoexpo), took place at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (Pudong) from June 19th to 21st, marking its return after a two-year hiatus.

The 123rd Episode of PharnexLive -- "CPHI Roundup: the World of API”
On June 23rd, the 123rd Episode of PharnexLive was broadcasted, focusing on the theme of "CPHI Roundup: the world of API." The event featured discussions with five industry founders about the current and future state of APIs. Dr. Jianguo Ma, Senior Vice President of Viva and CEO of Langhua Pharmaceutical, was invited as a guest to share insights on this topic.
Regarding the overall development of APIs this year, Dr. Ma highlighted that the investment and financing environment in biotech is cautious, leading to reduced budgets for downstream projects. Moreover, the impact of Sino-US relations has resulted in a decline in pharmaceutical market demand. In this context, CRO/CDMO companies are undervalued.
